This position rotates operating designated equipment in established production cells as assigned. Work including but not limited to, the assembly, inspection, sorting and packing of component parts produced in accordance with prescribed company quality standards and internal and/or customer specifications.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform a variety of assembly operations in the manufacture of plastic assemblies including installing gaskets and components parts on these assemblies and inspect for proper fit and zero defects.
Unload parts from baskets and/or totes onto worktable; visually inspect for proper form, surface defects, slug marks and/or foreign material.
Pack items, stack in cartons, apply labels (unless otherwise specified), and place cartons on skid.
Sort and rework parts as required and in accordance with established department procedures.
Meet company requirements for continuous improvement process goals.
May participate on process improvement teams and activities for cost reduction and/or product flow, as requested.
Examine produced parts for visual defects; may use quality assurance measuring tools on parts handled or processed to ensure adherence to quality compliance requirements.
Properly and safely use all manual machines and hand tools.
Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition; follow all company safety policies and rules.
Notify supervisor of unusual material or equipment problems.
Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications:
Education
High school diploma or GED
Skills/Experience
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Prior Plastics Injection Molding experience preferred
Ability to learn and display an understanding of quality, safety and process knowledge
Capable of working with team members as needed
Excellent communication and organizational skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
