Job Description
Responsible for Accounts Payable function. Also provides support as required to Finance team:
Process Corporate, GWR and GSAC vendor invoices, check requests, wire transfers (foreign and domestic).
Support administration Travel & Expense system. Audit and process T&E Reports for Corporate, GWR and GSAC.
Research/resolve supplier and T&E problems/issues as required.
Support administration of T&E and Purchasing Credit Card programs.
Issue supplier payments - Corp, GWR & GSAC (foreign and domestic)
Accounts Payable, Liabilities and Petty Cash General Ledger account analysis/reconciliation.
Assist/support requirements for external audits.
Issue vendor tax forms (1099's).
Support the monthly/quarterly Financial Closing. Develop and process journal entries for Purchasing Card, Travel and Expense, Air Travel, Tool Crib Expenses, Intercompany transactions, Cash Advances, Inventory in transit and other accruals/adjustments as required.
Assist Finance function with other accounting duties/projects as assigned.
Required Skills
Associates degree in Accounting
One to two years experience in Accounts Payable and/or General Accounting in a Finance environment.
