Duties Investigate allegations of child abuse/maltreatment in state operated facilities and voluntary agencies. Initiate an investigation. Assess the child(ren's) safety. Gather evidence from witnesses. Make a determination regarding their findings. Duties also include protective case and fatality reviews and reports of findings. Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.

Salary Range:
From $60069 to $76387 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree and three years of children and family services experience including or supplemented by two years in the planning, development or delivery of child abuse and/or neglect programs. Experience must include or be supplemented by one year of investigative experience. Children and family services experience may include, but is not limited to, adoption services, foster care services for children and/or adults, preventive services and protective services for children and/or adults.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
