This position will be based at our Rochester, NY facility.
Position Overview:
This person will contribute to the company's success by performing Radio and Test Asset management, Automated Radio testing execution, Requirements tracking and CIT ( Continuous Integration and Test) management and maintenance.
This role will report directly to a Software Engineering Manager and will be part of the software team responsible for developing new features and firmware for the International Radio Products.
Essential
Responsibilities:
Radio and Test equipment asset tracking.
Execution of automated tests.
Continuous Integration and Test management and status tracking.
Execution of Radio Performance testing.
Software requirements and test tracking.
Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong written and verbal communications, be a self-starter, highly organized and demonstrate leadership capabilities.
Communicates with contacts within and outside of own department and may occasionally have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.
g.
, customers, vendors, etc.
).
Explains and interprets processes and procedures to others within and outside the job area.
May work to justify and gain cooperation regarding processes, practices and procedures.
Required (Basic)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience Preferred
Qualifications:
Solid organizational skills Background in Agile scrum methodologies Experience with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Visio) Experience with Jira, TestRail and DOORS would be benefical Experience with RF hardware and radio communications equipment; background in Military communications (operation and/or installation) an extra bonus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
