WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
A Purchasing, Inventory & Planning Coordinator, located in Rochester, NY.
This position will be responsible for translating monthly forecast and actual demand requirements into a formal process for purchasing raw materials and goods; schedule manufacturing vendors and inventory deployment.
Responsible for maintaining inventory levels to ensure service goals are met.
Reviews cycle count inventory and troubleshoot discrepancies.
Develop actionable production schedules and plans to meet short-term and ongoing customer demand.
THIS ROLE WILL:
Negotiate and purchase cost-effective raw materials, molding services, consumables, and supplies with on-time delivery.
Create and manage entire PO process for manufacturing and approve invoice upon delivery Monitors and control daily, weekly, and monthly inventory at appropriate levels Perform physical on-site cycle counts; collaborate with off-site team on cycle counts Plan, schedule, and coordinate internal departments, vendors, and suppliers to meet appropriate inventory levels and customer needs.
Coordinate cost-effective freight moves and changes Develop production and inventory management plans.
Identify, monitor and resolve inventory discrepancies or production timetable issues Develop procedures required to meet service and inventory turnover objectives.
Track shipments and ensure they are complete, correct and on time.
Continually seek to streamline the purchasing and planning processes to improve efficiencies Resolve invoice pricing discrepancies, shipping errors or quality issues with suppliers.

YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:
AS or BS degree in purchasing and planning or supply chain, preferred 5 - 7 years relevant experience Manufacturing industry experience, required Plastic/resin; packaging industry, preferred Technical skills MS Office with strong skills in Excel and Word Experience with NetSuite ERP system, strongly preferred Strong interpersonal skills Strong analytical skills Arena Products is an equal opportunity employer, committed to building a team that represents a diversity of backgrounds, perspectives and skills.
