Facilites / Properties Coordinator - Outstanding Pay & Benefits
We are recruiting for a Great Opportunity for a facilities / Properties / Maintenance Coordinator or Manager. Temp to hire.
This is to work for a great company, East side of Rochester and seek someone to oversee maintenance of facilities and buildings. Company offers outstanding pay and benefits.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Overseeing and coordinating all building and maintenance to include painting, drywall (replacement or repair), light electrical and plumbing repair, oversee the maintenance companies responsible for grounds upkeep to include lawn, landscape and snow removal.
Oversee contractors, coordination and their work at the facilities as required.
Must have preventative maintenance skills, follow procedures and troubleshooting skills.
Must have general knowledge and ability to perform the above mentioned skills.
Must have ability to coordinator all activities and have ability to troubleshoot and repair building equipment and call in a contractor if necessary.
Must have excellent communication skills to call vendors and contractors and relay work to be done.
Will assist with outside activities and maintenance when necessary.
Must have ability to use small hand tools
Will be required to run errands, pick up supplies at needed.
Must have the ability to work in maintenance/repair/light construction environments both indoors and outside on a seasonal basis.
Other qualifications required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid NYS Driver License with good driving record
Must have solid work history
Must be able to perform duties, lift up to 50 LBS, and work on ladders.
Must be flexible and have ability to switch tasks in a moment's notice.
Must be pleasant, willing and able to assist and do responsibilities out of normal job scope.
Must be a team player and a company minded individual.
Must be hard working with an exceptional work ethic.
Must be able to pass a drug test and physical.
Other Qualifications Required:
Promote and conduct good housekeeping practices
Dedicated to support various time frames and operational needs
Must be highly self-motivated and in tuned to people
Ability to work independently
Ability to communicate effectively, (written and verbally) with peers, management, contractors
and vendors
Sound judgement in decision making and have strong integrity
Must have solid professional references to be considered.
Hours are 8 to 4:30 Monday thru Friday
Excellent Pay and Benefits offeredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
