HR Business Partner/ Sr. HR Manager Functions at Carestream in Rochester, NY

The Sr. HR Manager is responsible for developing and executing HR strategy that is designed to meet operational and business needs of assigned client areas (Global R&D, Global Marketing, Finance, IT, Legal). The position serves as the strategic partner to the ELT members of the assigned client areas on HR matters and integrates with their management teams. This involves delivering a full spectrum of HR support for U.S. & Canada staff including assessing organizational capability, talent management systems and processing, organizational design, coaching, talent acquisition, and employee relations. The position will coordinate immigration activities for U.S. and Canada, working with other HR staff and outside counsel. Currently, this position is the primary HR contact for Carestream's Oakdale, Minnesota, site. The Sr. HR Manager will collaborate and liase with regional and/or country HR Directors for matters impacting employees in the client areas who are located outside of the U.S. and Canada. Required Skills & Education:
BS or MS in Human Resources or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience 7
years progressive HR experience Must have broad HR generalist knowledge, especially in U.S. labor A strong team player with experience in driving HR initiatives Demonstrated experience advising and influencing leadership at all levels Must have the ability to flex between hands-on technical execution and strategic matters Ability to adapt to changing priorities Must be comfortable dealing with conflict and problem resolution Approachable, discerning, collaborative, and effective in communicating to all levels through various modes Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Desired Skills:
HR experience supporting matrixed organizations, and or global company is preferred. Project management skills and experience utilizing quality tools. Experience using SAP Success Factors is a plus.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
HR Generalists & Business PartnersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
