Quality Informatics - Manager

The Manager of Quality Informatics has responsibility for the management and delivery of various Federal and State quality reporting and pay for performance programs at RRH, and for providing clinical analysis to support and guide strategic quality goals. Coordinate activities and functions of various quality programs to ensure goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications. Responsibilities may include coordination, solicitation and scheduling of projects, development and implementation of new processes or workflows, budget management and other administrative duties, ongoing program management, and supervision and development of the Quality Informatics team members. Coordinate work between IS&T, Quality, Medical Informatics, Clinical and Operational leaders, and vendors as necessary. This includes the coordination, monitoring, and status reporting of all clinical and technological components related to these programs across the organization. The role oversees the interpretation and definition of regulatory requirements. Helps business operations utilize information systems to improve efficiency. In conjunction with the CMIO, CQO, CIO, IS&T and Health Informatics Leadership, participates in establishing and implementing major goals and objectives. Key
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Quality Informatics Department. Develop policies, procedures and standards that support the achievement of organizational and departmental goals and objectives. Ensure data submissions are completed accurately and timely Provide analytic solutions to operations to help guide strategic decisions Lead work with Operational Leaders, IS Project Managers and operational teams to plan, implement and optimize clinical systems that support quality reporting initiatives. Maintains knowledge of all applicable Federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to applicable quality reporting programs. Serve as the champion and change manager for quality program projects across RRH. Provide financial estimates of potential program incentives and payment adjustment impacts. Demonstrate leadership, collaboration, critical thinking, and teamwork in addressing decisions and resolving issues. Ensure policies and procedures are developed and updated as necessary to coincide with regulatory requirements and system utilization. Manages projects as assigned with attention to detail, expected outcomes, and timelines. Develop initiative plans, guidelines, project timelines, system requirements, and milestone maps in collaboration with operational, nursing, medical staff leadership. Maintains current technical knowledge and expertise in the functional areas under the purview of this position. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Oversees daily team operations and coordinates activities of program; determines priorities. Monitors program expenditures ensuring budget targets are met or exceeded. Confers with and advises leaders on programs goals, and regulatory interpretation. Evaluates program effectiveness to develop improved methods; devises evaluation methodology and implements; analyzes results and recommends and/or takes appropriate action. Develops, compiles and writes communications to raise awareness of programs, providing training as necessary. Project management of all clinical and technological components for the RRH external rating programs (ex. USNWR, Health Grade, Leap Frog etc.). Evaluates program effectiveness, monitor expenditures, recommend and develop improvement methods. Desired Attributes:

Qualifications:
BS in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or Finance required. MBA or Masters in Health Care Administration preferred. 5-10 years of experience in a Health Care related field preferred. Required Licensure/Certification Skills :

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
