We are currently seeking candidates for our Rochester, NY Location:
Quality Inspector
Responsibilities:
Candidate must possess a working knowledge on a wide variety of inspection methodologies, including standard hand gages, Optical and Form systems along with CMM operations.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, customer specifications, quality standards and a strong understanding of GD&T is required.
Role encompasses all facets of Inspection in a Precision CNC manufacturing environment.
This includes 1st piece and Layout Inspection, In-Process and Final Inspection.
Ability to set up parts and operate a CMM using PC-DMIS is required.
Maintains the traceability of documentation and all objective evidence related to production.
Supports the completion of First Article Reports (AS9102) while collaborating with Quality Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers.
Performs incoming material and part inspection along with verifying associated documentation for conformance and preparing inspection packages.
Assists in the selection of gaging to maximize repeatability and reproducibility of measured parameters.
Experience conducting Gage R&R is a PLUS General CMM Programming skills using PC-DMIS is a PLUS Assists with the development and execution of PPAP's a PLUS
Qualifications:
1-3 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and present information to associates and managers.
