About SKIP of New York, SKIP was launched 30 years ago; it is based on the belief that every child deserves a shot at the best childhood they can get, especially children who are medically fragile and/or developmentally disabled.
Through service coordination, advocacy, and hands-on problem solving, more than 150 SKIP case managers make sure the 3,000
children they work with each year get that chance.
Quality Assurance Coordinator, Health Home Care Management Essential Job Functions
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Human Services, Education, Health, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year experience working in human and social service systems supporting children and families with long term, chronic health conditions or developmental disabilities required.
You will learn a lot and will be provided opportunities to hone your organizational style, time-management skills in an organization that stresses teamwork and collaboration.
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask.
Proficiency in writing and communication a must.
Computer literate, knowledge of Excel A
Position overview and possible duties:
The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for ongoing audits and other QA initiatives, support of care management staff, and administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
The function of Quality Assurance is to ensure the best possible work product for the individuals that we support, their families, and the organizations with which we interact.
Receives and reviews all compliance documentation.
Returns all unacceptable documentation back with instructions for proper obtainment.
Conducts comprehensive reviews of client records, both physical and electronic.
Completes audits of caseloads, introductory, billing, records, transitional, and external state/OMIG.
Staff Contact:
Interact with SKIP staff to obtain necessary documents and signatures Answer questions about Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) assessments and communicate with other agencies for accuracy.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
