Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our healthcare team.
As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide essential support to patients and assist in their overall care.

Duties:
- Perform vital signs monitoring, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate - Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety - Collect specimens for laboratory testing and perform basic laboratory procedures - Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional - Assist in the maintenance of medical records and documentation - Monitor patients for any changes in condition and report observations to the healthcare team - Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times - Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred - Familiarity with dementia care, assisted living, pediatrics, or gastric lavage is a plus - Knowledge of basic nursing principles and procedures is beneficial Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent patient service - Proficient in taking vital signs accurately and efficiently - Ability to lift and assist patients with mobility needs - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Job Type:
