Sales Representative - Manufacturing

EGW Personnel is a professional staffing firm in search of a sharp, experienced and motivated Sales Representative for our local manufacturing client and its subsidiary.

Responsibilities:

Track status of all Request For Quote activity by customer including date quote received, customer due date, our client's actual submit date, customer feedback and percent of business retained from our client's quoting activity.
Prioritize quotes to ensure they are submitted to customer on time.
Generate report for all new business by customer on monthly basis.
Secure Materials Agreement for all customers by division including authorization for supplier planning weeks, raw material acquisition and in-process periods.
Oversee project management for new programs including review of customer contracts and purchase orders, securing all required documentation such as prints and specifications. Work closely with customer service, engineering, production and purchasing to ensure that purchase orders are received, sales and work orders are entered, material procurement, tooling as required, engineering packets are released, and delivery dates are obtainable. Must also follow up with customer after initial shipment to get customer feedback.
Organize quarterly customer visit for relationship building including addressing commercial concerns, reviewing our client's performance, delivery, quality and cost. Gain insight from customers on future new programs, status of existing programs (such as product going end of life), and what new programs may be replacing existing ones.
Organize quarterly sales meetings to management team, briefing them on current business relationships and voice of the customer.
Explore new potential customers and business segments/markets as defined by management resulting in minimum of 20% year over year revenue growth.
With the assistance of our client's engineering manager, coordinate all Caterpillar collaboration and "Should Cost Model" activity.
Assist with sales, marketing and promotional literature for trade shows, publications and special campaigns.
Assist management team with establishing sales forecast based on existing customer forecast and projected new business.

Requirements:

BS in Business or Engineering, or equivalent job experience - MBA preferred.
7-10 years of experience in a sales leadership role with 4+ years of experience in a selling role and 2+ years of experience working with sales technology and CRM.
Experience working with C-level executives helpful.
Outstanding leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Expertise in selling strategies and methodologies, strategic planning and execution, and employee motivation techniques.
Experience in materials management, from planning through purchasing, and negotiation and administration of multi-million dollar procurement agreements.
May be subject to a nationwide felony background check and drug test.

$50-55K DOE.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
