Our Job Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Quality Control Coordinator (Finance Mortgage) to join our team in Rochester, NY.
The Quality Control Coordinator is a subject matter expert in his/her assigned functional area, has demonstrated expertise, and has mastered the duties of a senior level in the functional group. This position may also be found in a quality department with responsibilities focused on quality processes.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Actively involved and support the on-going QC area/department efforts and project initiatives focused on process re-engineering and improvement. Resolve escalated issues.
Assist in the development, documentation and implementation of internal quality control procedures.
Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all assigned regular audit projects, and reports.
Manage/coordinate on-going projects, acting as main contact with other departments, and communicating regularly with department management regarding projects or initiatives.
Audit work completed by functional positions.
Track information and trends and report information to management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
High school diploma or GED required
Experience
Five years of experience and demonstrated success at the highest level of the functional area as well as demonstrated success in a quality role. Incumbents are typically hired from with ISC for this position in order to gain the expertise in the functional area.
Knowledge/Skills
Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understand implications of work and make recommendations for solutions.
Use all available resources and leverage additional resources as necessary
Use skills as a seasoned, experienced member of the functional area with full understanding of department practices and established policies and procedures.
Make recommendations to department processes and procedures.
Errors are difficult to detect and would normally require significant expenditures to resolve and result in significant loss of time or customer/user dissatisfaction.
Receive general supervision, is competent to perform most aspects of the job independently, and requires guidance in some aspects of the job.
Act as a resource to other functional department members.
Determine methods and procedures on new assignments. May be an informal team leader.
