The Group Rooms Coordinator''s duties include, but are not limited to: managing group guestroom blocks, managing and entering leads coming into the hotel on a daily basis. Assigning leads to the appropriate managers and communicating group details through comments added in the system as well as verbally to the sales managers as needed. The Group Coordinator also assists managers with daily administrative duties such as preparation of contracts, proposals to include PowerPoint presentations and creating and distributing internal communication paperwork.

## Qualifications
Strong customer service-oriented and problem solving skills
Effective organizational and time management skills
Strong Analytical, Organization and Planning Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detailed oriented, deadline driven, organized individual able to handle multiple tasks while working in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Ability to type with speed and accuracy
Previous experience in a hotel sales office or front office environment is mandatory.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
