Payroll Clerk Job Description
Payroll Clerk will compile and record employee time and payroll data. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
o Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
o Process paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system.
o Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.
o Compute wages and deductions, and enter data into computers.
o Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records.
Ideal Payroll Clerk Candidates
o 2-3 years experience using Kronos
o Experience allocating labor costs
o Reliable transportation
o Excellent attendance
Pay Rate: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
Shift/Hours: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3 pm
