Electrical Engineer
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer in the Rochester, NY area. As an Electrical Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to deliver complete, fully functional electrical enclosures and designs that comply with all electrical standards to clients, on time and within budget.
Key duties will include:
Design electrical control solutions and enclosures that meet customer and national code requirements using AutoCAD Electrical
Create installation and start-up drawings including architecture drawings, pull sheets, bid documentation etc.
Assist with the fabrication and functional testing of the enclosures
Requirements include:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 1
years of experience using AutoCAD Electrical
Proficiency in control panel design including: signal/circuit separation; cooling requirements, field wiring access, etc., with power sources of up to 800A, 480V, 3 Phase.
Familiarity with NEC, OSHA, Safety and Industrial code standards and industrial wiring practices and materials
Ability to understand and interpret P&ID's and functional descriptions
