Welder
Arnprior Rapid Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. has an urgent need to hire an experienced Welder who specifically has experience welding a variety of materials, particularly invar. The position requires independence and accountability for quality and throughput within the Sheet Metal/Welding Department, as well as, the willingness to perform other tasks based upon work priorities.

The chosen Welder will be expected to:
Set up, clamp, and perform welds (Tack, Electric Arc, and Gas Methods) on diversified metals, such as aluminum, cold-rolled steel, and stainless steel.
Determine appropriate welding technique required for making the weld according to customer requirements.
Weld thin-gage sheet metal with thickness range of .015 to 1 inch plate.
Perform full in-process inspection and document, as required.
Interact effectively with Engineering Team members.
Work 6:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Overtime and shifts may be required on an as needed basis.
The qualified Welder will have at least 5 years of welding experience, as well as:
Ability to obtain their D17.1 certifications within the first six months of employment.
Ability to read and understand drawings.
Possess a strong knowledge of welding practices for prototype and production.
Have excellent attention to detail.
Ability to accurately weld a wide variety of materials (e.g. invar, titanium, tool steel, stainless, aluminum and steel).
Knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS9100 preferred.
Experience spot welding and/or sheet metal fabricating is a plus.
