Line Clearance Tree Company Safety Coordinator

Reporting to the Company Safety Director the Safety Coordinator role will be performing Safety Observations and Crew audits over a range of various contracts and various Division Managers. There can be storm support with tree crews working away. There can be overnight travel.
This is not an entry level position and the successful applicant will have a background in Line Clearance Tree Trimming Operations and will have worked in that environment in all positions up to Foreman. A tree worker with at least 5 years in field operations would be a plus.
The Safety Coordinator position is a position of great responsibility. Applicants must be knowledgeable in the operation of aerial lifts, climbing trees, using rope and harness and use all applicable fall arrest equipment and shall be proficient in all aspects of line clearance tree trimming methods and equipment. This is a position that may include managerial duties. A working and operating knowledge of heavy equipment is a must.
The following attributes would be beneficial helping in the selection process,
A fair knowledge of trees
An ISA certified arborist certification
A fair knowledge of heavy equipment
A current First Aid / CPR cert and or FA/CPR Instructor cert. (not essential)
Certificates of Line Clearance Tree Trimming training
At least 2 years working as a Safety Superintendant
Possession of a CTSP certification would be a plus.
An OSHA 10 card
Good compensation, vehicle, phone etc. for the right person. This is a position that can lead into a supervisory role.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
