Program Manager


POSITION OBJECTIVES:
Manage assigned projects/programs to ensure exceptional service and performance in the on-time delivery of quality parts to key, strategic customers.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
On selected programs, manage the customer communication, expectations and day-to-day contact, between customer, operations, sales, and outside service providers.
Create and maintain project timelines and milestones, ensuring programs stay on track and meet customer expectations.
Work with operations team and customer to develop project deliverables at the onset of new programs.
Manage costs of program ensuring that program meets budget expectations.
Manage the Toll-Gate process of the program management selection criteria.
Maintain records and documents of the program, from quoting phase, to final shipment.
Develop relationships with your customer counterparts that exceed the day-to-day requirements of the management of the program.

SECONDARY DUTIES:
Coordinate outside services as required.
Facilitate the development of recovery plans as necessary in regard to quality or delivery issues.
Produce written proposals during the quoting stage as necessary.
Assist on other accounts as needed, due to manning, illness, need, etc.
Participate on various company subcommittees as required in the constant quest for continual improvement
Use of Syteline ERP system and Lotus quoting system.
Engage in light production when required to move program forward, including: testing, testing observations, and packaging.

MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred, or two year degree with engineering/technical manufacturing experience; AND
Minimum of three years of experience in a lead role as a Program Manager.
Experience with Program Management software/ ERP application (Syteline, SAP, etc).
Experience in optical manufacturing environment & familiarity with a variety of the Optical field's concepts, processes & technology preferred.
Working knowledge of ISO, ITAR, Mil specs, and FDA preferred.
The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work closely with engineering and manufacturing personnel where excellent communication, writing skills and strong organizational skills are required.
Time management, analytical and critical thinking skills are essential.
Must be able to effectively present data and issues to all levels of internal and external customers.
Physical Requirements - must be able to perform with or without accommodation: Walking, sitting, standing; Use hands to operate a computer, other office productivity equipment, etc.; Talking/hearing to Communicate, Convey & Exchange information frequently with extreme accuracy to customers/employees: Sight ability to recognize and decipher customer diagrams, contracts, details, use of computer, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
