We are recruiting for a Quality Inspector who will train and eventually lead the quality department and to take on this important role. Quality Inspector will be very critical to the company's operation.

As a Quality Inspector you will be expected to:
check parts, certifications, be very detailed oriented, and be well spoken to speak and meet with customers.

Experience with ISO 9001-2008, smart scope, and cmm is a plus.

Primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot production parts. Responsible for 1st piece, in process and final inspection.
Responsible for receiving inspection consisting of components and products which have been sent out for plating or any type of finishing.
Must have FAI (first article inspection) in process inspection and ability to provide detailed reports.

Will learn to be the main contact person for ISO 9001 quality audits and customer audits.
Will train to audit the ISO system standard once a year on the production floor.
Will interface with customers, and be responsible for customer print control, revisions in getting to the production floor.
Will also deal with customers on corrective action reports, print verification and waiver requests.
Will be responsible for ISO 9001-2008 quality management systems, and transitioning to ISO 9100 for aerospace certification.

To be considered must have minimum 2 years' experience above mentioned experience as a quality inspector with precision machined components.

Tolerances up to +/- .00002. capable of measuring parts with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators and Cmm
Must have at least 2 years' experience in reading prints
Must have good customer service communication skills to speak with customers on a daily basis to confirm any questions, clarifications on parts and any discrepancy's.
Any previous report writing is a plus, such as, experience with quality costs reports, on time delivery reports, employee report discrepancy, material reports, keep track of customer report cards
Must have experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Windows

Hours are Monday through Friday 6 am to 4:
30pm. Mandatory 50 hours a week, with paid overtime. Great benefits offered at this growing company. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
