Machine Helper
Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Machine Helper who will assist workers in operating the post by performing the following duties:
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors/managers, and all other employees.
Responsible for adhering to, and maintaining all ISO 9001 procedures and requirements of the Production function and department. This includes active participation in the internal and external audits for the Rochester division, when necessary.
Ability to properly read a tape measure.
Able to read production traveler or hard copy of order. Checks for product specifications and completes Quality Check according to Quality Plan specifications.
With Supervision develop the:
Ability to set up and operate machine accordingly to acceptable safety standards.
Ability to set up and run bundler.
Ability to fully operate electrical panel of switches for the machine.
Selects and sets speed of machine according to type of operation and specified material finish.
Ability to successfully complete Plant Data Collection process using computer system.
Responsible for notifying Supervisor of any non-conformities that cannot be self-corrected, or if a problem persists.
Complies with all company policies and safety regulations.
Responsible for wearing appropriate and required Personal Protective Equipment in designated areas.
Responsible for keeping all work areas clean and free from hazard.
Performs all other duties as assigned by higher management.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED
At least 2 years of recent manufacturing experience
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Mathematical skills
Reasoning ability
Will be working 1st shift Mon-Fri from 6am-230pm. Pay is $10 per hour and qualified candidates are to apply online at rochesterny.expresspros.comEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
