The Infection Preventionist - RN plans, develops and actively implements all facets of Hospital Infection Control Program. Directs the appropriate allocation of hospital resources while maintaining quality patient care.

ATTRIBUTES
Bachelor's degree in Nursing OR Associate's Degree in Nursing with a minimum of three (3) years of direct Infection Prevention experience required.
Minimum three (3) years of previous hospital nursing experience.
Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate. Conducts hospital surveillance for nosocomial and community acquired infections among patients and staff. Monitors and evaluates patient care activities to identify methods, techniques, equipment, supplies, new products or specific procedures which may constitute an infection risk.
Educate. Conduct bi-monthly orientation classes for all new personnel. Teach basic infection control practices to nursing students, medical technology students, and key staff in non-nursing departments on an annual basis.
EDUCATION LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED); BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
