Machine Operator - Rochester
Your ResponsibilitiesOperate centerless grinders, chamfering machines, bar straighteners and other metal processing equipment.
Pull, inspect and verify product beforeprocessingProperly and safely set up equipment to run material to work orderspecificationsProcess orders according to work order specificationsVerify that material meets work order specifications per written work instructions and record measurements (sampling plan)Assist in the packaging of material per written work instructions and workorderProperly operate weighing scale and record inspection measurementsIdentify, record, and segregate scrap and any non-conformingmaterialThis is a first shift position working Monday through Friday 7am-3:
30pm.
Starting pay $16 per hour plus monthly gainshare bonus incentive.
Your ProfileRequirementsA high school diploma/GEDMinimum 2 years of experience in metals industrypreferred,industrial warehouse experiencepreferredStrong math skills, experience working with fractions anddecimalsMachine operator experience for a minimum of two yearsAbility to read a tape measure andcalipersBasic knowledge of computer systems and data entry, SAP Experience preferredAbility to operate side loaders, vacuum lifts, cranes and forklifts; forkliftcertifiedAbility to operator Amat wire,Shellingsaws, Bearing andTsunecircular sawingmachinesAbility to lift 70pounds.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
